- 1 / 5By Mark WoodTook my little girl to Holly farm as she really enjoyed Greenlands farm in Carnforth. Unfortunately Holly farm pales in comparison. If you love to look at grass, then the paddocks are great. If not, then the two sole donkeys won't impress you much. Other than the donkeys, there were two sheep, two pigs and two goats. ANY random field on the way was more interesting. As for the cafe, if you have ALL day, you might enjoy it. Our little one had finished her food and drink and got tired of sitting long before our 3 coffees and 3 cakes arrived (more than 20 minutes and the cakes where already on display!). Before we left, i thought the world famous ice cream would rescue the day. We waited in the shop for someone....anyone, who worked there to serve us. I imagine we would still be waiting there, so we cut our losses and left. Maybe we caught them on a bad day but boy was it bad.July 18, 2016
